I love to eat, and I love to cook – the motivation and reward are one in the same.
Lucy in the Larder is something I do for fun. It’s a collection of general foodie related items – a journal of recipes that intersect my life and travels; what I cook at home; where I eat out and food photography (no fancy food styling).
I hope it inspires you to experience life through food; broaden your palette, discover new ingredients, cook delicious recipes at home and enjoy food at its best – when it’s shared.
Hi Lucy! I’ve just stumbled across your blog. Fabulous! I have to ask, did you find a name or maker for the ceramic egg holder. I saw one earlier this year at a B&B but haven’t been able to find one since.
Thanks
Lizzie
Hi Lizzie
Thanks, so pleased you like it!
I am still searching the vendors at the Finders Keepers market for the seller of the lovely ceramic egg holder – it might be http://www.littlewhitedish.com.au. As soon as I find it I’ll let you know
thanks.
Lucy
Dear Luce , loving it all! You very clever. Any menu suggestions for an April christening brunch for baby Olive? 20 people max including kids.
Luv fi fi
Hi there Lucy, what a wrap you have given me!!! I enjoyed seeing a photo of my
” currant loaf”!!!! It is a ripper.
It was a neat recipe exchange, I received a few really good ones, some via Amelia.
I should share them with you too.

Hi Lucy
Found your blog through googling Teresa Cutter. Love your mixture of healthy and indulgence, not too common with blogs these days. You have an awesome attitude towards food.
Thanks Lyf. Glad you like it! Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures 🙂
We are organising an Elizabeth David Picnic Sunday on May 26 – it’s her centenary this year. The website I am putting together has a gallery of picnic pictures from around the world, and I would love to use your Picnic photo from October 2011 that I found on the web: no money, but I could put in a link/credit or whatever. We are in London, but hope people will go out and picnic around the world to celebrate.
Hi Roger, I wish I was in London to attend your picnic! No problem to use the photo and I would love a credit or link to my blog in return. If you need a hi-res image you can contact me directly on squirelucy@gmail.com. Thanks for reading and enjoy your picnic! Lucy
Thanks, Lucy! Don’t need hi-res. Will let you know when it’s on-line.
